UW’s High Performance Computing Club:
In 2015, I helped found the University of Washington High Performance Computing Club with four other graduate students from across departments. Our mission was to supply computing resources to the UW student body, so that students could pursue independent research projects. During my tenure (2015-16), we were awarded a total of $1 million.
In March 2015, I attended the NESCent R PopGen Hackathon Durham, NC. Our group developed an R package (multiNE) to estimate effective population size from a single population. I also contributed to the package apex.
Tackling the giant:
I’ll be slowly adding my clunky R code to github. Please email me if you have any questions. My R scripts.
